Made to Measure Doors & Drawer Fronts for DIY Kitchen Refurbishment |

| Many visitors to our Website and also to our Showroom believe their existing cabinets are 'standard' size. This is usually (but not always) correct for cabinet widths. Cabinet heights, however, can vary significantly from one supplier to another. This means that unless B&Q, MFI, Wickes etc were the original manufacturer it is often not possible to get Replacement Doors of the correct size from these multiple stores. This is no longer a problem as all of our huge Catalogue of Door and Drawer front styles are Made to Measure and therefore will fit any cabinet size. The cabinets installed in many UK homes are based on widths of 300mm, 400mm, 450mm, 500mm and 600mm, where the doors designed to fit these are 4mm less, ie 296mm to fit a 300mmW cabinet etc. Although our doors are completely custom made we have a chart of Standard Sizes which are used as a basis for our selling prices. For sizes which fall in between one standard size and the next the price is rounded up to that for the next size. It is wise to be aware of this as whilst it is perfectly possible to make a door of width 300mm ...etc if this is to be fitted to a 300mm wide cupboard, with other cupboards adjacent, it is highly likely the door will rub against it's neighbour. Also it may be seen from the above that as 300mm is greater than the standard size (296mm) the 300mm door will be costed as though it were 396mm wide ie next standard width up. A reasonable degree of accuracy is required when measuring your Doors and Drawer Fronts but nothing which cannot be measured with a normal household tape measure. We prefer to receive measurements in millimetres (whole numbers only as our eyesight is not up to measuring fractions of a millimetre with a tape measure even if your's are!!).
