Laminate Kitchen Bedroom or Bathroom Door Ranges
Plain & Simple Flat Faced doors are an ideal choice for those seeking a quality low cost replacement door. There is essentially no difference between the Asdec & Meldec Laminate ranges other than the selection of available colours. Choose from any combination of more than 60 board colours and a similar number of Luxury Edging colours. Wardrobe size doors are available but glazed or mirrored doors are not. Grain may run vertically or horizontally just specify when ordering.
These replacement doors are made from high quality 18mm thick Laminated Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC), edge finished with 2mm thick thermoplastic edging. Minimum height or width is 100mm. Maximum height is 2400mm, Maximum width is 1000mm. Due to the coarse grain nature of the chipboard core material, which unlike medium density fibreboard (MDF), does not lend itself to machining sculptured face designs, this door range is only available with a plain flat face.
All of the doors in all of our ranges are completely made to measure and we will quote for any size which is specified (within the size limits for that range - see above). It is worth noting however that in order for doors and drawers to open without rubbing against an adjacent item then door and drawer front widths are usually a few mm less than the cabinet width. A typical door or drawer front for a 500mm wide cabinet would be 496mm wide. At the stage where you are providing sizes for us to quote please do not be too concerned about this aspect. Once you have placed your order we have a tried and tested system for ensuring these sorts of details are specified correctly. Similarly with hinge holes, for quotation we only need to know whether the door is to be drilled or not, we will request details for positions when you have placed the order.
